Creamy White Sauce Pasta Recipe

 

 


 

 

 You must have made pasta many times but today I am going to share a very authentic way with all the perfect measurements with this recipe you will surely prepare perfect White Sauce Pasta take 2 cups Pasta of any shape. I am using Macaroni because kids love it. Take water in a vessel add some salt 1/2 tsp Oil, let it come to a boil make sure you add Pasta after water starts boiling otherwise your pasta will turn very sticky boil for 6-7 mins it also depends on what type of Pasta you are using macaroni takes less time to boil do read the instructions provided on Pasta packet cook only till 90%.

 

Do not cook completely. In technical term Al-Dente. This is perfectly cooked till 90% let me cut it to check. You can see a slight white ring which means it is not 100% cooked turn off the flame on this stage remove out some Pasta stock. We will use it later strain the water and immediately wash it under cold water take 2 tsp oil in a pan.

 

Add 1 tbsp finely chopped Garlic fry. You can adjust the garlic quantity as you like add 1 Onion finely chopped. You can also add spring onion if you like, but red onions are usually available so I am using it fry for a bit and don't turn it to golden brown. Now we will add rest of the veggies some chopped Carrots

 

Some chopped capsicum. I am using all three colored bell peppers, you can use whichever is available some boiled corns mix everything and cook for 2 mins do not overcook veggies should be crunchy. Because we are later going to cook them with white sauce after 2 mins, add some Salt 1/2 tsp black pepper powder mix.

 

You can also add beans, chicken or mushrooms keep it aside, now we will make white sauce take 3 tbsp butter in a pan once butter is melted, add 3 tbsp all purpose flour take same amount of flour as butter cook over low flame for 3-4 mins make sure you cook on low flame, flour should not get burnt. You can add more butter if you find the need of it.

 

It is perfectly cooked; you can see some froth add 2 cups Milk on room temperature. You can even use chilled milk. Once you add some milk, immediately start whisking it because it tends to get lumpy then only you will get smooth and creamy sauce add rest of the milk and keep mixing with whisker after that cook for 2-3 mins.

 

You can see it's very smooth and of thick consistency this is the perfect consistency smooth, well cooked and not too thick

Add some salt

Some black pepper powder

1 tsp mixed herbs seasoning

1/2 - 1 tsp Red Chili Flakes

Mix everything

 

Our basic white sauce is ready, now we will add cheese

1/2 cup cheese (mix of mozzarella and processed cheese)

You can use cheese cube, grated cheese, cheese slices or cheese spread

Add all the cooked veggies

Add boiled pasta

Mix well for a minute

 

You can adjust seasoning and salt at this stage

You can also adjust the consistency by adding some milk

You can see the perfectly coated pasta cook for 1 more minute.

Do not overcook otherwise pasta will start breaking pasta is perfectly cooked.

Will not make it dry, serve it piping hot.
